Asbury Eagles Finish 5th in NCCAA National Tournament

NCCAA Tournament - Fifth Place Game

The Asbury Eagles closed their season out with a fifth-place finish in the NCCAA national tournament. The Eagles (20-13) defeated Oakland City today behind 37 points from Michael Spann. Spann was 13-25 from the field, including 7 three-pointers. As a team, Asbury was 15-32 from the three-point line. The Eagles picked up 18 points from Phillip Morrison and 13 points form John Ensign.

Oakland City (13-15) was led by Brandon Hopf with 31 points and 11 rebounds. Hopf was an impressive 15-18 from the field. They also picked up 17 points and an outstanding 25 rebounds from Nathan Schumacher.
