Kentucky Players Have Billy Gillispie's Back

There is an intriguing article in the Courier Journal today where several Kentucky players offer support for embattled head coach Billy Gillispie. In a sea of negativity that has engulfed the Kentucky program, it is interesting to hear some of the comments made by Michael Porter and Patrick Patterson.

"I think Coach has done a great job," Porter stated. "I think he's done everything he could have possibly done. It's all on us."

"If the fans think they can coach, come out one game and try," Patterson said. "Coach knows what he's talking about. He's the person who knows the most about basketball. He knows what he's doing out there.
