At Stake: NCAA First Round victory and opportunity to play against top seed Louisville

The Morehead State Eagles and Alabama State will open the NCAA Tournament tonight in Dayton. For the Eagles, this will be their first NCAA Tournament game in 25 years. Alabama State's last appearance was five years ago.

Alabama State will be led by Brandon Brooks, who averages 13.8 points and 6.8 assists.

Morehead State will rely on OVC Defensive Player of the Year Kenneth Faried and senior forward Leon Buchanan.

Tonight's winner will move on to play overall number one seed Louisville on Friday night. That game will also be played in Dayton.
