- The announcers stated that a UK roster that includes Meeks, Patterson, Wall, Cousins, Orton and Henry would make Kentucky the preseason #1 team in 2009-10

- Cousins is looking like a special player early in the game; he has 6 early points and has shown some great moves around the basket
