Breaking News: Daniel Orton Asks for Release from UK

I just received a phone call from a good source stating that Daniel Orton has asked for his release from the University of Kentucky.

Orton was originally recruited by Billy Gillispie and is #22 on the Rivals150 List.

UPDATE #1: Matt Jones is reporting the same thing

UPDATE #2: KentuckyInk is reporting that they spoke to Orton's father and he says that Daniel has not asked out of his commitment.
