Impressive Career for Campbellsville's Zach Allender

Zach Allender, a fifth-year senior at Campbellsville University, has ended his career as the first male player in school history to accumulate at least 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

Allender's career college numbers are 2,050 points and 1,082 rebounds. He is the third Tiger to reach the 2,000-point club. He was a three-time All Mid-South Conference selection, All NAIA second team once and Co Mid-South Player of the Year in 2006-07. Honors for this season have not been announced yet, but he is expected to earn more accolades.

Allender attended Nelson County High School in Bardstown, Kentucky.

"I loved playing in Campbellsville," said Allender. "It was close to home and the people there are great."
