John Wall: A Kentucky Lean?

Add me to the growing list of those who believe that John Wall may be favoring the Kentucky Wildcats as the team he will play for next season. Wall told a Rivals Site today that he is closing in on making a decision.

"I think I know where I want to go, " he stated.

There is a growing belief that Wall is likely Kentucky's to lose at this point.

Wall is the overall #1 player on the Rivals150 List. If Kentucky were to land him, they would almost certainly have the top-rated recruiting class for 2009 (what a difference a month makes, huh?).

I spoke to a source close to the situation tonight about Wall's recruitment. He labeled Wall as "a difference-maker that can single-handily turn a program around."

My source was not at liberty to discuss Wall's recruitment specifically, but he did add that the recruiting process has been "very positive." He predicts that next season "will put Kentucky basketball back where it belongs..."

My Thoughts: I feel that John Wall will be a Kentucky Wildcat. If that happens, UK will have a great team next season. Things are already looking good, but we are still a true PG away from greatness. Regardless of how the Wall recruitment turns out, the future is looking bright in Lexington.
