Kentucky Hires Two More Staffers from Memphis

The University of Kentucky basketball program has hired two more staffers from Memphis. Chris Simmons will join the program as an athletic trainer. He has been the athletic trainer for the Memphis team the past three seasons. Simmons graduated from Memphis in 2002, worked with the Arkansas RimRockers of the NBDL and then returned to Memphis in 2006.

Lunetha Pryor will join the Kentucky staff as an administrative assistant and office coordinator. Pryor worked 22 years for Memphis before making the move to Lexington.

So far, Kentucky has hired the following individuals from Memphis:

- John Calipari, Head Coach
- Orlando Antigua, Assistant Coach
- John Robic, Assistant Coach
- Rod Strickland, Director of Student-Athlete Development/Manager
- Bilal Batley, Assistant Director of Operations/Manager
- Chris Simmons, Athletic Trainer
- Lunetha Pryor, Administrative Assistant/Office Coordinator
