Kentucky, Louisville Have Top 15 Recruiting Classes

The latest team recruiting rankings by Rivals.com have Louisville and Kentucky ranked in the top 15 classes for 2009. There will likely be a shakeup in the rankings as several players, including John Wall (#1) and Xavier Henry (#8), remain undecided on which schools they will attend. Kentucky currently has the fifth-ranked class with DeMarcus Cousins (#2), Daniel Orton (#22) and Jon Hood (#40). If the Wildcats sign either Wall or Henry, they will likely have the top-ranked class for 2009. Louisville comes in at fifteenth with Rakeem Buckles (#36), Peyton Siva (#39), Mike Marra (NR) and Stephan Van Treese (NR).

Currently, the rankings are as follows:

1. Villanova
2. Texas
3. Georgia Tech
4. North Carolina
5. Kentucky
6. Oklahoma
7. UCLA
8. Kansas
9. Connecticut
10. Indiana
11. Oklahoma State
15. Louisville
22. Minnesota
