Mike Casey Memorial Heart Walk Team Organized

A memorial walk team has been created in honor of Mike Casey. Here is an e-mail from Mr. Casey's daughter with some details:

Mike Casey #34 Memorial TeamA Memorial "Walk" Team has been set up in Daddy's honor next weekend at the American Heart Association Walk held at Commonwealth Stadium. A link is attached below if you would like to donate to such a great cause.

The Central Kentucky Heart Walk and Tailgate Party will take place on April 25th at 10:00 at Commonwealth Stadium. Walkers have a 1 mile and a 3 mile route option.

The Heart Walk immediately precedes the Blue White Football Game.

Heart disease is the #1 killer of Americans and 31 people die from Heart Disease every day in Kentucky.

The American Heart Association is helping in the fight against Heart Disease through education, advocacy and research. AHA has given the University of Kentucky Cardiovascular Research Center nearly $16 million dollars during the last 10 years in this effort. The Heart Walk is one of our major fundraisers every year.
