Today is April 15, the deadline for Americans to file their tax returns. The IRS reports that it received 102-million tax returns as of last week, but there are approximately 20 millions people that have not mailed in forms yet.
There are tax protest rallies planned around the nation, including Kentucky. Tea Party Tax Protests are planned for noon in Lexington, Nicholasville and Frankfort according to WKYT.
Today also marks the beginning of the regular signing period in NCAA basketball. The regular signing period runs from today through May 20.
Kentucky expects big-man DeMarcus Cousins to sign his national letter of intent according to Jody Demling at the Courier-Journal. Kentucky coach John Calipari is also awaiting the decisions of several other recruits.

Louisville added four players during the fall signing period and is not expected to add any others. I will report on Western Kentucky, Morehead State, Murray State and Eastern Kentucky when the information becomes available.
