Tony Delk, Scott Padgett to Join UK Staff

Jerry Tipton is reporting that former Kentucky players Tony Delk and Scott Padgett will take entry-level assistant coaching positions with the team. Head coach John Calipari noted how much he likes to help aspiring coaches get started in the profession. He added that it should come as no surprise if his former players from Massachusetts and Memphis take entry-level positions while he's at Kentucky.

My Thoughts: This is a move that had been mentioned around the program for several days now. I am glad that Delk and Padgett will be joining the staff and it's refreshing to see a head coach welcome former Wildcat greats near the team.
