Brescia Signs JUCO Star Lamarte McGhee

Brescia University has signed Lamarte McGhee from Central Carolina Community (Jr.) College. McGhee is a strong 6'8", 270-pound sophomore.

He led NJCAA Division III in rebounding average with 15.5 per game during his freshman season. McGhee established a school record with 41 rebounds in a single game and then broke the record with 42 during a game later in the season. He also averaged 15.5 points per game.

McGhee was regarded as the pre-season player of the year in NJCAA Division III.
