John Wall Leaning Towards Kentucky?

Well, Rick Bozich first reported today that Duke had a slim lead in the John Wall sweepstakes. Now, he is hearing that it is Kentucky:

More John Wall

Another source, another twist in the recruiting of the Next Derrick Rose.

Word I got later tonight is that UK is optimistic about getting a commitment from John Wall next week.

And when scholarships need to come open, these are the names I'm hearing that won't be back next season:

A.J. Stewart, DeAndre Liggins, Matt Pilgrim. Stay tuned.

Duke wouldn't know what to do with him if they got him! LOL!

I personally think he is coming to Kentucky, but I thought I'd post the article from Bozich anyways.

Keep posting anything and everything you find out. Its greatly appreciated! Like I said, Duke wouldn't know what to do with him if they did get him! They would choke like they have in the past few years! If Wall wants to win and be a National Championship contender next season then his best bet is KENTUCKY!!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!

If UK lands Wall, it could be the greatest recruiting class (on paper) in history. Add Patterson and Meeks to the mix and you're talking a great Kentucky team. Not to mention Miller and a solid bench.

I can't see Liggins not coming back next year unless he flunks out. After hearing him in interviews I'd say he'll be back. Then Pilgrim, he already sat out one year. I can't see him sitting out another year on a transfer. I've been wrong many times but I can't see these guys as the ones out. What about Williams or Harrelson? To me those guys do not fit the Calipari system at all. But you know your sources so if they say those are the 3 out..then I guess thats the case. Thanks for the info. Your doing a great job on your info.

I wanted to make sure it was clear that this is Rick Bozich's opinion on who will leave. I have a different opinion (which I'll be writing about tomorrow).

sorry I read your post wrong. It was Rick B. saying that was his thoughts on the 3 out. I don't agree with him on that. But I've been wrong so many times...that I'm sure he could be right.

Pilgram has to be givin a place on the team, he deserves it and may be the only guy on our sqwuad that could prees cousins for playing time, Harelson, and Liggens don't seem to fit in my opinion, Galloway is a must keep because he can push the ball and be a team guy, if meeks stays around we will be loaded, whatever happens I can't wait to see these boy's next fall....GO CATS!!!

i think harrelson stewart and either liggins or gallaway will be gone

I have to lean towards liggins as he would only be a sophmore, and this would not ruin his college experince, plus galloway showed us a greater up side and could play a very important role as an experinced playa,Liggens could be a great player but probably not t at UK, too much compatition for playing time at all positions, just the way it should be, CATS are back!

i'll take galloway over stephenson. he's a dribbler!
