Galloway on Calipari: "...he told me like a man."

Kevin Galloway is not happy about leaving the Kentucky basketball program, but he says he respects the honesty of coach John Calipari.

“I can respect Calipari for what he’s done, because he told me like a man,” Galloway said.

Galloway is one of the seven Wildcats that will not be returning next season. He joins Michael Porter, Landon Slone, Jared Carter, Donald Williams, A.J. Stewart and Matt Pilgrim.

Pilgrim felt that he had nothing to worry about and was a little surprised at the news.

“To tell you the truth, I thought I was safe. But it went down like it did and now I’ve got to find a new home.”

Stewart states that he met with Calipari and the two basically reached an agreement.

“I pretty much had a meeting with Calipari and he broke things down with me. My situation wasn’t going to work out and we came to an agreement.”
