There are Twitter reports from Jeff Drummond of The Cat's Pause saying that LeBron James is sitting with several University of Kentucky staff members and recruiting targets. That is huge news and it can't be stated enough how someone like LeBron can influence high school kids. Here is Drummond's "tweet":

Dustin Rumbaugh, who does superb work on the recruiting trail for Kentucky Sports Radio, realizes the potential power of a name like LeBron. Here is a tweet that Dustin sent out:
"I can't tell you how HUGE LeBron sitting with UK coaches is. Talk about a top recruiting tool. He could be UK's MJ. I'm pumped."

You better hope that LJ is not talking to recruits on behalf of your staff. ...didn't i see the guy picking his ears in Deliverance? Calipari is quite the suckup. Rod looks like his feelings are hurt. Can't wait to see Cal in Memphis next week, i'm sure he'll be greeted warmly... that is if he has the guts to show up at the Finch Center. Money says that he won't and that he'll send some other uK smuK. Timely move out of his old house yesterday.

I was just sitting here thinking about all these Memphis folks...You all ever been around a buddy of yours who was recently dumped, divorced, etc. and they talk bad about their ex-companion and how they are glad they left and so on and so on? You know, they sit and go on and on about anything they can think of or make up that will help them feel better...And there's no doubt in your mind how much in love they were and they would jump back into the relationship in a split second if given a chance...Big ego in public, cry their eyes out in private kinda thing...Know what I mean??
