
Former Kentucky Wildcat center Shagari Alleyne has signed a professional contract to continue his basketball career in Norway. He has signed with Tromso Storm in the Norwegian BLNO league.
Alleyne, who stands at an impressive 7'3", played three seasons for Kentucky before transferring to Manhattan College. He did not play for Manhattan and opted to enter the 2007 NBA Draft. After going undrafted, he attended training camp for the Philadelphia 76ers, but never made the team.
In 2008, he was invited to join the Harlem Globetrotters, where he became known as "Skyscraper."
