Breaking: Adreian Payne to Michigan State?

A source that I consider pretty solid is saying that Adreian Payne will indeed announce his intentions to go to Michigan State today (Thursday).

Officially, Payne is down to four schools: West Virginia, Michigan State, Kentucky and Arizona.

It is late and I am still gathering details, but I hope to have something solid early.

Better hope he gets to the NBA. He'll never find a job in that drug infested, run down, highest unemployment in the country state.

You're right... he should go to West Virginia or Kentucky where everyone's a millionaire!!!

Might have the highest unemployment rate in the country, but the Pistons are always hiring, and last I checked they paid pretty good. Lets see he could get a job in Kentucky as....Mountain Man? Hillbilly? Calipari's towel boy? Not a whole lot of appealing jobs there either.

Honestly..this kid seems a little weird. A lot of coaches see him as somewhat aloof and flaky. I see him being a bust...compared to expectations.

Don't get the city of Detroit mixed up with the rest of this beautiful state. I won't judge your state by the "ghetto" of your largest city. A 33% unemployment statistic of Detroit "skews" the states over-all percent. The MSU basketball players "earn" their degrees and that earns them jobs nationally and internationally. Just one of the reasons Andy Kaatz ranked MSU the #1 basketball program in the nation.
