The Bellarmine Knights are off to a 4-1 start after picking up a pair of back-to-back wins in the Bill Joergens Memorial Tournament hosted by the University of Southern Indiana.
Last night, Bellarmine destroyed Minnesota-Duluth by a score of 90-48. Braydon Hobbs led the Knights with 14 points on perfect 5-5 field goal shooting.
In today's action, the Knights defeated Michigan Tech 79-66 behind career performances from Jeremy Kendle and Chris Dowe. Kendle tied a career high wtih 24 points on 11-13 shooting. Dowe reached his career high with 15 points on 5-5 shooting.
Bellarmine will now prepare for a tough conference test, as the Knights will travel back to Evansville to face Southern Indiana in the Great Lakes Valley Conference opener for both teams on Thursday, Dec. 3. Bellarmine then follows that up with their annual road trip to Kentucky Wesleyan on Dec. 5.
