Scout.com is reporting that Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino has his recruiting eyes on D.J. Wright, a 6-7 forward at Mount San Jacinto C.C.
Rivals.com reports that Wright committed to Louisiana Tech on Monday of this week, which makes the news of Louisville's interest surprising.
Last week, Pitino ventured to Florida to watch Ricardo Ratliffe, another JUCO standout.
Ratliffe is rated as the top overall JUCO player in America by Rivals and Wright is ranked #8.
