Kentucky's Patrick Patterson has been named the Southeastern Conference player of the week, and John Wall has been named SEC Freshman of the Week.
Patterson averaged 18.7 points and 12.3 rebounds in wins over Miami (OH), Sam Houston State and Rider. He scored 19 points and tied his career-high with 18 rebounds in the win over Rider.
Wall averaged 20.3 points, 7.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 steals in three games last week. He scored 19 points, had five assists and hit the game-winning shot with 0.5 seconds left in his collegiate debut against Miami.
