Bad Break for Louisville Basketball and George Goode

Louisville's George Goode has suffered an apparent meniscus tear in his knee and is likely out for the remainder of the season.

“Unfortunately George fell down yesterday,” Pitino said of the sophomore forward, “He didn’t bang anything. He just fell down. As we speak there’s an MRI on him but he’s probably out for the season. It’s funny about these injuries. It’s never with contact.”

In other injury news, guards Preston Knowles and Peyton Siva should be back for tomorrow's game against Western Carolina, but Jerry Smith is still out.
