Former Kentucky Wildcat big man Jared Carter, who was waived by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants a little over a week ago, has been reacquired by the team.
Carter has appeared in one game. He played 3 minutes and picked up an offensive rebound. In his second game with the Mad Ants, he did not play (coaches' decision).
Carter is a native of Georgetown, Kentucky and he played high school basketball for Scott County.
Here is a mention of Carter on a Mad Ants Blog:
In the meantime, I have heard we are bringing back Jared Carter to get another big body on the team with Chris gone. If you recall, Carter is the 7'2 center from Kentucky who started off with us in training camp but was waived. He did not get a lot of time in at Kentucky to show what he can do, so let's see what he does with this opportunity.
