Glasgow Columnist Admits: "I was wrong about Kentucky"

Kentucky Wildcats Basketball
Jon Webb of the Glasgow (Ky.) Daily Times shares a commentary this morning about the Kentucky Wildcats. He admits that while he doesn't make a habit of admitting he's wrong, he may have misjudged the Kentucky Wildcats this season.

He writes:

I was (94-percent probably) wrong about Kentucky.

While commenting on the release of the USA Today/ESPN Preseason Coaches Poll in the Nov. 1 edition of the paper, I wrote the following:

“After a 22-14 season and two years under Billy Gillispie, the Wildcats are far from the fifth-best team in the nation.”

Well, they aren’t. They may be the best.

The Kentucky Wildcats are not only opening eyes nationally, they are making noise in the Bluegrass state, as well.
