
I was searching for a piece of weight-lifting equipment on Craigslist and came across this rare nugget of University of Kentucky basketball history:

Now, I have no problems at all with selling an autographed piece of sports memorabilia - I have done so myself and as long as it's authentic, I think it's a great idea. I am curious to see who would pay $150 for a Billy Gillispie autograph. I guess it is possible that the basketball and display case costed $145.
A quick search of eBay shows that one can purchase an autographed Tom Brady NFL Pro Bowl jersey for $102.50 or a Derek Jeter signed baseball card for $100.00. No disrespect to Gillispie, but I have to think that there would be a higher demand for Brady and Jeter autographs.
