Kentucky freshman point guard John Wall has been doing his best to recruit former high school teammate C.J. Leslie to Lexington. Leslie reports is his online diary:
I did get to watch my boy John Wall (Word of God, 2009) beat North Carolina! We actually had a game that day and I only caught the last eight minutes, but someone recorded it for me and I watched the whole game. Aww man, John did his thing! I was definitely proud of him. I talked to him after the game and he was definitely on his recruiting thing, just saying “You need to come here, man!”
So that was cool to see him do so well in such a big game. His game has grown even more than when we played together last year.

Leslie, a 2010 forward, is one of Kentucky's primary targets for next season's recruiting class. He ranks #14 on the Rivals150 List and he holds offers from a long list of schools including Kentucky, North Carolina State, Oregon, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia Tech, Georgetown, FIU and Maryland. Many recruiting analysts believe that he will eventually land at Kentucky or N.C. State.

which begs the question...does JWall enjoy his time at UK soooo much, that he may opt to stay another year (to further polish his game and skyrocketing legend) and actually play with CJ Leslie??? I know that EVERY expert has said that he is one-and-done, but JWall seems like the type of kid that just may prove the experts wrong...again...probably just me wishing, but hey...it is Christmas time...so let me dream

I believe Wall will want to make his Mama proud and do like P.Patterson and get his degree.
