The Kentucky Wildcats' basketball team is projected as a #1 seed in Joe Lunardi's early (way, way early) Bracketology.
There are no other teams from the state in this week's edition. Surprisingly, Lunardi projects Austin Peay to win the OVC over co-favorites Murray State and Morehead State. He projects North Texas to win the Sun Belt Conference.
The Louisville Cardinals, fresh off a pair of tough defeats, is not projected to make the tournament at this point.
