Jeff Goodman of FoxSports.com has confirmed a rumor that has been out there for a long time as it appears that Steve Masiello will be named head coach at Manhattan.

One interesting aspect of this move will be the role, if any, of Manhattan assistant Scott Padgett. Padgett, like Masiello, is a former University of Kentucky player.
