
Western Kentucky recruit Deng Leek will not qualify academically out of high school to play for the Hilltoppers in 2011-12.

Western Kentucky senior associate athletic director Todd Stewart confirmed to the Daily News on Sunday what McDonald told visitors of a Toppers on Tour stop Saturday in Lexington that 2011 center signee Deng Leek will not qualify academically out of high school to play at WKU next season.
Leek, a 6-foot-11-inch Sudanese prospect by way of Veritas Academy in Greensboro, N.C., signed with the Hilltoppers last fall as a Rivals.com three-star prospect.
