Kevin Galloway is Showing His Stuff to NBA Teams

Former University of Kentucky player Kevin Galloway, who transferred and finished up his career at Texas Southern, worked out for the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.

Galloway has already showed his stuff to Atlanta and New York.

In Sacramento, Galloway worked out with Andrew Goudelock (College of Charleston), Jacob Pullen (Kansas State), Julyan Stone (UTEP), Xavier Rabaseda (Spain, Barcelona), and Mark Payne (U.C Davis).

Here is an excerpt from Sacbee.com:

"With all the things I've been through, it's been a long career," Galloway said. "Just to actually have a home, somewhere I could fit in and get a chance to play a little bit, and help out the school and put up a banner. So it felt good."

Galloway has been working out in Las Vegas and was in town this week when he got the call Monday that the Kings needed a player for the workout to replace injured Cleveland State guard Norris Cole.

Having already worked out for Atlanta and New York, Galloway jumped at the chance to audition for his hometown team.

Galloway said he could be drafted in the second round but would be happy "anywhere."

"I got a lot of positive feedback that even if I don't get drafted, I've got a good chance of making an NBA team," Galloway said. "So, hopefully, I end up in the NBA next year."
