Kentucky Pros vs. The Villains?

According to WKYT, the Kentucky Pros will play a team of "villains" at Rupp Arena in the near future.

The report says the Pros will battle a group of some of the most hated University of Kentucky opponents in recent memory.

Rajon Rondo, Nazr Mohammed, Tayshaun Prince, Chuck Hayes, Jodie Meeks, DeAndre Liggins, Josh Harrellson, Eric Bledsoe, Patrick Patterson and Kelenna Azubuike have said they would play in the Villains game.

The list of potential "villains": Kemba Walker, Rudy Gay, Tyler Hansbrough, Nolan Smith, Eric Gordon, Terrence Williams, Joakim Noah, Kenneth Faried and Shelvin Mack.

A source says the villains may be coached by a true villain who is well known for stomping a Kentucky player in the chest (see picture).

The Kentucky Pros will also play:

Oct. 8: Univeristy of Pikeville at the Expo Center
Oct. 9: Alice Lloyd College at Knott Central High School
Oct. 10: Georgetown College at Mason County High School
Oct. 12: Union College at Pulaski County High School
Oct. 13: Mid-Continent University at Graves County High School

The list of Pros who have committed to those games are Rajon Rondo, Jodie Meeks, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Josh Harrellson and DeAndre Liggins.

John Wall, Chuck Hayes and Keith Bogans are undecided.

. I wonder just how excited these schools like Pikeville and ALC are to get to play against NBA players? Wonderful idea and it looks like something good has came out of the NBA lockout for basketball fans in Eastern Kentucky.
