NKU Nets Commitment from 2012 Forward John Staley

Northern Kentucky University has landed a verbal commitment from 2012 forward John Staley from Chaminade-Julienne (OH) High School.

Chaminade-Julienne senior forward John Staley has verbally committed to play basketball at NKU, according to his father, longtime Chaminade-Julienne coach Joe Staley.

John Staley averaged 17.6 points and 7.4 rebounds last season for Chaminade-Julienne. He also had offers from Vermont, Tennessee Tech and Hillsdale College (Mich.).

“He really liked the closeness to home and he really liked coach (NKU coach Dave) Bezold,” Joe Staley said.
