DeMarcus Cousins Scores 42 in Goon Squad Classic

Former University of Kentucky star DeMarcus Cousins participated in the Goon Squad Classic on Sunday.

Cousins unofficially scored 42 points on the "Purple Team" with Tyreke Evans, Isaiah Thomas, Hassan Whiteside and Matt Barnes. Evans scored a game-high 54 points.

The Purple Team lost 167-164 to the Black Team, which was made up of Donte Greene, Jimmer Fredette, Jason Thompson and Spencer Hawes.



There were no official stats, but Ben Taylor of KDVS Radio in Davis recorded some scoring numbers:
