Kentucky vs. Syracuse: Who Would Win?

Katie Kramer of Syracuse.com wonders who would win if Syracuse played against top-ranked Kentucky.

Kramer has an online poll, which currently has the Wildcats winning by a landslide.

Here is an excerpt:

After losing its first game of the season to Notre Dame last Saturday, the Syracuse men's basketball team also lost its No. 1-ranking to Kentucky.

The Wildcats are 20-1 so far this season, only losing to Indiana back in December, while the No. 3 Orange are 21-1. Kentucky has top freshmen Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on the court. The Orange has veteran leadership in Scoop Jardine, Kris Joseph and Brandon Triche. SU also has the depth of its bench, including star sixth man Dion Waiters.

My Thoughts: Kentucky 74 Syracuse 66 (on a neutral court)

If the Wildcats and Orange played tonight, who would win?

Syracuse doesn't play much defense except 2-3 zone, so if they have to play run-and-gun with full-court press, they don't adjust.UK would have to make its outside shots to win, though. Good game. Rebounding would be critical.
