Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the Washington Wizards have fired head coach Flip Saunders after the team's dismal 2-15 start this season.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! sports says on Twitter that Wizards management has talked to assistant coach Randy Wittman about taking the interim coaching job, but nothing is official yet.
