Calipari Says UK Stars Have All Done Enough to Consider NBA

Kentucky head coach John Calipari says his underclassmen will not make their NBA decisions before today's NCAA deadline. They will announce their decisions before the April 29 NBA deadline.

Calipari also says all five of his underclassmen stars have done enough to consider a jump to the NBA.

Here is an excerpt from ESPN.com:

"They're not going to make that date," Calipari said Monday. "I'm not pushing these guys. I told them to relax, do school work, finish up and see their families. They've got time to make their decisions."

Still, the expectation is that Kentucky will lose freshmen Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, as well as sophomore Terrence Jones, likely sophomore Doron Lamb and freshman Marquis Teague. Darius Miller, another possible NBA draft pick off the national champions, was a senior.

"All of them have done enough to think about it," Calipari said of the five underclassmen. "It's not will they be drafted, but do they want to do it? That's the question for each of them. That's our Kentucky effect and they've all benefited. It would be one heckuva of night if we had six guys in the first round."
