Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Knocked Out, Taken to Hospital
Former Kentucky star Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
was knocked out in tonight's game against the Houston Rockets.
According to reports, Kidd-Gilchrist was out for approximately six minutes before being carried off on a stretcher and escorted to a local hospital.
Kidd-Gilchrist appears hurt. Went down after trying to block a Douglas shot on a break. Jeff Taylor fell on him. Has been down a long time.
Kidd-Gilchrist has been down for six full minutes. Got hit in back of head. Will be wheeled off with neck supported.
Scary stuff. MKG was wheeled off in stretcher. Crowd, teams seem in shock. Parsons just ran by Bobcats bench to say a word or two.
Kidd-Gilchrist being taken to Memorial-Hermann emergency room.
