Happy Osborne Named Head Coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College

Montgomery County High School head coach Happy Osborne has been named head coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Osborne will be officially introduced at 3:15 p.m. local time Monday in Tapscott Chapel on the Kentucky Wesleyan campus.

KWC athletic director announced the hiring earlier this afternoon on Twitter.

Osborne was the long time assistant and head coach at Georgetown College. As head coach there, he went 456-84 and won an NAIA national championship. He then spent a season as an assistant coach at Tennessee Tech.

Last season, Osborne guided Montgomery County High School to a 33-5 record and an appearance in the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen semifinals.

Glad an AD finally saw the forest through the trees!!! He wins at almost a 90% clip and reached 400 wins faster than ANY coach at ANY level of college hoops. Also reached KY Sweet 16 in his only year at Montgomery County! All he does is WIN!

This is who MOREHEAD ST. should have hired when Tyndall left!
