Kentucky is No. 1 in the AP Top 25 Preseason Poll

The Kentucky Wildcats will enter the 2014-15 college basketball season at No. 1 in both major polls.

The Wildcats are on top of the AP Top 25 poll that was just released this week with 52 first-place votes and 1,604 total points.

Arizona is a distant second with 5 first-place votes and 1,518 points.

Wisconsin, Duke and Kansas round out the top 5.

The Louisville Cardinals will open the season at No. 8 in the AP poll.
