CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Cold shooting spoiled the Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) men's basketball season opener today as the Blue Raiders fell 68-53 to No. 4-ranked Benedictine (Kan.) at the Powell Athletic Center.

The Blue Raiders (0-1) shot 33.9 percent (20-of-59) from the field, including making just two of their 17 shots from beyond the 3-point arc. Benedictine (1-1) countered by making half of its 44 shots from the field and nearly 53 percent (9-of-17) from three.

While all 10 Blue Raiders that played scored, none reached double figures. Bryan Wallace led the offensive attack with nine points off the bench while Dusan Pantovic, Keshaun Mayfield, D'on Hall and Tony Horne all contributed eighth points.

Conner Fleming and Jallen Messersmith led four Benedictine players in double figures with 14 each.
