Former Morehead State Center Chad Posthumus Signs with Mississauga Power of NBL Canada

Former Morehead State big man Chad Posthumus has signed with the Mississauga Power of the National Basketball League of Canada.

(Mississauga, ON - ) The Mississauga Power have added two new Canadians to the roster, who will look to create an impact for the team immediately.

Chad Posthumus is a 6'11 centre from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Posthumus played at Morehead State University, where he averaged a near double double of 9.6 ppg and 10.9 rpg. Posthumus' accolades include ranking #4 in the NCAA in rebounding and 1st in the NCAA in rebounds per 40 minutes. He went on to play in the NBL in Japan, where he averaged 10.1 ppg and 8.1 rpg. Posthumus also participated in the 2014 NBA Samsung Summer League in Las Vegas as a member of the Chicago Bulls team.

Warren Ward, who is from Brampton, ON, ranks second all-time in scoring for the University of Ottawa. The 6'6 guard held averages of 17.8 ppg and 7.6 rpg in his final year at Ottawa before moving on to play professionally in Germany. Ward was a member of Canada Basketball's 2011 Development Team and represented Canada in the 2011 PanAm Games in Mexico.
