Former Racer James Singleton Signs with the Canton Charge

Former Murray State star James Singleton has signed with the Canton Charge in the NBA Development League.

The 34-year old Singleton played last season for Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the China's CBA league. In 45 games, he averaged 18.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

Canton Charge strengthened their roster with addition of 34-year old forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray State). He played most recently at Xinjiang Flying Tigers in Chinese CBA league. In 45 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.4ppg, 10.8rpg, 1.8apg, 1.0spg and 1.1bpg last season. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.

Singleton ended the previous (2012-13) season at the Knicks. But the most of that year he spent at Xinjiang Flying Tige (CBA) in China. In 21 games he averaged remarkable 15.2ppg, 11.0rpg, 1.7apg and 1.0spg in 2012-13 season.

The previous (11-12) season Singleton played at the Wizards. In 12 games he averaged 8.2ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.3apg in 2011-12 season.
