Centre College Playing for SAA Regular Season Championship on the Road This Weekend

Centre College (18-4, 9-3 SAA) is currently tied with Rhodes (16-6, 9-3) on top of the Southern Athletic Association league standings heading into the last weekend of regular season play.

Sewanee is currently in third place with an 8-4 SAA record. Oglethorpe and Birmingham Southern are both sitting at 7-5.

Rhodes technically has the best chance to win the regular season title because they are playing at home while Centre must go on the road. That being said, the Colonels have now won 7 consecutive games and are clearly hot at the right time.

Here's a breakdown...

What Centre needs: The Colonels need two road wins this weekend to stay on top of the SAA conference standings. Centre and Sewanee both play at 3-9 Berry and 7-5 Oglethorpe.
