DeAndre Liggins is Headed to Germany

Former Kentucky guard DeAndre Liggins will continue his professional career in Germany.

Liggins has reportedly signed with Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in Germany's top-level BBL league.

German Beko BBL team Eisbaeren Bremerhaven got active one more time on the transfer market hauling in Deandre Liggins (198-G-88, college: Kentucky) Liggins is a 26 year old 198 cm guard playing his fourth professional season. Liggins has NBA experience having played 64 NBA games for teams like Orlando, Oklahoma and Miami. He started the season with Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (Russia-VTB) where in VTB play played 10 games averaging 7,3ppg, 4,2rpg and 4,7 apg. He also played 12 Eurocup games averaging 6,5ppg, 4,5rpg and 3,5apg. "We wanted to get a quality player for the position four or five, but we couldn't find that player. We felt inorder to be best prepared for the last games, we had to get the best possible player. Liggins is a very good defender, versatile and has NBA experience. We are happy that he took or offer an dhope that he is the missing piece to the puzzle", warned Bremerhaven manager Jan Rathjen.
