SEC Tournament - Quarterfinals

For the third time this season, No. 1 Kentucky and Florida battled into the second half before the Wildcats finally seized control of the game and earned a win.

In today's SEC Tournament quarterfinal rounds, the Wildcats (32-0, 18-0 SEC) extended a single digit lead to 11 points with less than 10 minutes to go in the game. Florida never recovered and Kentucky rolled into the semifinals with a 64-49 victory.

Karl Towns led the Wildcats with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds. Aaron Harrison also finished with 13 points. Andrew Harrison and Willie Cauley-Stein chipped in 9 points each.

Florida (16-17, 8-10) was led by Jon Horford's 15 points. Eli Carter contributed 11 points.

The Wildcats will play either Auburn or LSU in Saturday's semifinal round at 1:00 p.m. ET.

For Florida, the season comes to an end with a disappointing losing record and more questions than answers heading into the summer.
