Josh Harrellson Named Player of the Week in Puerto Rico

Former Kentucky big man Josh Harrellson was recently named Player of the Week in Puerto Rico's top-level BSN league.

Harrellson had 27 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists for Guayama in a 98-89 win over Humacao. All 27 of Harrellson's points came from the three-point line (9-for-15).

American Josh Harrellson (208-F-89) put on an amazing game in the last week for Guayama and that's him to receive a Player of the Week award for week 22. The 25-year old forward had the game-high 27 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Guayama in his team's victory, helping them to beat Humacao (#12, 2-20) 98-89. Guayama maintains the 5th position in Puerto Rican BSN. Guayama is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-10 record. In the team's last game Harrellson had a remarkable nine three-pointers out of 15 attempts. He just recently signed at Guayama, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Kentucky graduate has very impressive stats this year. Harrellson is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 2.4bpg.
