Assistant Coach Brian Ellis Leaves Morehead State

Assistant coach Brian Ellis has left the Morehead State coaching staff to accept a new job with Custom College Recruiting, LLC.

Ellis praised Morehead State, the Morehead community and coach Sean Woods on social media. He cited a need to spend more time with family as the primary factor in his career change.

Custom College Recruiting welcomed Ellis to the company via a brief announcement earlier this morning:

Please welcome the newest addition to the CCR family and staff Coach Brian "BJ" Ellis. BJ will be stepping into the role of Global Director of Sport. He will over see the everyday progress of CCR growth and help to expand our global reach beyond the 37 countries we currently serve. He will bring a wealth of knowledge and hard work to an already talented team.

Ellis spent three seasons as an assistant at Morehead State. Before that he was with head coach Sean Woods at Mississippi Valley State. He has also served as an assistant coach at Delta State.

Good riddance. One of worst assistant coaches I've ever seen. Amazing he lasted this long.
