Apollo's Eli Wright Adds Offer from Connecticut, Considering Prep School for Senior Season

Apollo High School shooting guard Eli Wright has picked up an offer from Connecticut.

Wright, who stands 6-foot-4, holds offers from a long list of Division I schools including Clemson, Indiana, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

Wright averaged 20.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game at Apollo last season.

There's a chance he will leave Apollo and attend prep school for his senior season, however.

Here is an excerpt from the Bowling Green Daily News:

He averaged 20.6 points and 7.5 rebounds as a junior for Apollo, but he told the Daily News on Wednesday that he’s still considering attending prep school for his final year of high school. That will dictate a decision date.

“If I go to prep school, then I’m probably going to commit in November,” Wright said. “If I don’t, I’m going to wait it out.”
