Former EKU Guard Mike DiNunno is Headed to Greece

Former Eastern Kentucky point guard Mike DiNunno has signed with GS Iraklis Thessaloniki in Greece's second-level A2 league.

DiNunno played last season for Cheshire Phoenix in the British BBL. In 20 games, he averaged 16.1 points and 4.3 assists per game.

GS Iraklis Thessaloniki (A2) landed 25-year old American (has also Italian passport) point guard Mike DiNunno (180-87kg-90, college: E.Kentucky). He played most recently at Cheshire Phoenix in British BBL league. In 20 games he averaged impressive 16.1ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.3apg and 2.0spg (in top 2) last season. Part of previous (2013-14) season DiNunno spent at Madogas Natural Energy BNB (Serie C) in Italian league. In 10 games he had 14.6ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.9apg in 2013-14 season. He also played at Beroe (NBL) in Bulgarian league that season. In 6 games he had very remarkable stats: 23.7ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5spg in 2013-14 season.

Among other achievements DiNunno's team was regular season runner-up in OVC East Division in 2013. He received also NABC Division I All-District 19 1st Team award in 2013 at his college time.

DiNunno graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2013 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.

Iraklis BC is in Greece, guys! Mike played last year in Italy...
