30 Northern Kentucky University Games to be Shown on Television

Thirty Northern Kentucky University men's basketball games will be televised this season.

Here are details from NKU:

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky University men's basketball team will have 30 games of its 2015-16 schedule broadcast on local, regional and national television networks this season. NKU will appear on ESPN3, FOX Sports 1, BIG TEN Network and American Sports Network among others.

"The exposure our men's basketball program will receive this season is tremendous," said Ken Bothof, director of athletics. "As head coach John Brannen continues to build our program at Northern Kentucky, we want to expose as many fans of college basketball to the NKU Norse brand. We're on the rise and want the nation to take notice."

Northern Kentucky will produce 14 of its 15 home games for ESPN3, while Horizon League-partner American Sports Network will carry the home contest against Valparaiso on Jan. 24. This marks the second-straight year that the entire men's basketball home slate will be broadcast.

NKU's road game at Xavier will be carried on FOX Sports 1, marking the first time the Norse will appear on the national network. The OVC Digital Network will carry NKU's game at Eastern Illinois. NKU at Michigan will air on the BIG TEN Network and the contest at Toledo can be seen on ESPN3.

All nine road games in the Horizon League are scheduled for ESPN3. Motor City Madness, the Horizon League's men's basketball championship, will also be carried on the ESPN family of networks. Early-round games will be broadcast on ESPN3, while the semifinals will be carried on ESPNU and the championship game on ESPN or ESPN2.
